Planes, Trains & Tired Feet

On Tuesday I decided to do some exploring. "Some exploring" turned into Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben & Parliament. My dorm (right near Victoria Station) is an easy, pretty ten minute walk from the Palace. Just as I arrived, the clouds broke and gave way to one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen.

Though my plan was just to walk there and back, I couldn't resist continuing on. It's safe to say I wasn't disappointed (unlike when I mix up my coins). 

 

 

  

Yeah, yeah, yeah we all know London is awesome and the major sights are beautiful. BUT what I bet you didn't know is that Netflix is way better in Britain than the US. I'm not ashamed to admit that this was a legitimate concern of mine pre-trip. I had heard horror stories from other students about how Pandora, Hulu and most of Netflix can't be streamed in Europe. While most of the stuff we get in the US isn't on there (yes, I have to wait until June to watch Gilmore Girls again), they more than make up for it.
